About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Electrical Harness Design Engineer to develop and integrate harness systems for advanced defense technology platforms. You'll manage end-to-end electrical wiring design, connector selection, and signal integrity while collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Design, fabricate, and integrate harness systems while representing the harness discipline on projects
  • Develop harness block diagrams, wire diagrams, and assembly instructions for production
  • Research and select connectors, wire, shielding, and cable construction to meet environmental requirements
  • Conduct electrical trade studies and analyze risks including voltage drop, crosstalk, EMI, and thermal effects
  • Participate in design reviews and guide the electrical team on system requirements
  • Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages

  • Electrical harness design for aerospace, military, or industrial applications
  • Power distribution, grounding, shielding, and signal integrity analysis
  • Electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
  • EMI/EMC principles and MIL-STD compliance
  • 3D CAD wire harness routing (NX, Siemens Capital, CATIA preferred)
  • Wire block interconnect diagram and schematic interpretation
  • SWaP (Size, Weight, Power) optimization
  • Supplier and manufacturer coordination
