About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to design and develop advanced radar systems for defense applications. You'll manage mechanical and thermal design from concept through production, working with RF hardware and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative sensor solutions on accelerated timelines.
What you'll do
- Own mechanical and thermal hardware design from requirements through full production transition
- Design complex mechanical systems integrating thermal solutions, RF hardware, PCBAs, and cabling
- Rapidly prototype to identify issues and compress product development cycles
- Support customer demonstrations and translate feedback into design improvements
- Travel to test sites as needed for validation and support

- Mechanical design (2+ years professional experience)
- CAD proficiency and engineering drawing standards
- Hands-on fabrication and manufacturing problem-solving
- Thermal management design (passive and active)
- EMI constraint design
- PCBA and electronics integration
- Engineering first principles
