About this role

Anduril is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer to design and develop complex mechanical fixtures and assemblies for PCBA and product-level test systems in a defense technology environment. You'll work cross-functionally to create precision test equipment, thermal solutions, and manufacturing fixtures while leveraging CAD, FEA analysis, and DFM/DFT expertise.

What you'll do

  • Design mechanical assemblies and test fixtures using professional CAD tools with tight tolerances and pneumatic/manual actuation
  • Develop electromechanical test systems and thermal solutions, including heatsinks for RF systems and PCBA designs
  • Collaborate with rapid fabrication teams and contract manufacturers to source materials and equipment
  • Conduct FEA analysis and guide product design teams through DFM/DFT considerations
  • Integrate designs into PLM systems and train technicians on equipment operation
  • Perform root cause analysis and ensure repeatable, robust product testing through next-generation system design
