Explosive Operations Engineer

Anduril Industries seeks an Explosives Operations Engineer to manage safe development, testing, and deployment of explosive systems across multiple defense product lines. This role combines hands-on operations expertise with cross-functional coordination to scale explosives capabilities from development through field support while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute explosives operations across lab, test, and field environments for multiple product lines
• Ensure compliance with DoD, ATF/ATFE, DOT, OSHA, and internal safety requirements
• Conduct range safety activities, blast assessments, quantity-distance evaluations, and site planning
• Manage explosives storage, inventory, security, inspections, and forecasting
• Train personnel on safe handling procedures and operational execution
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, legal, and program teams to translate requirements into operational plans
