About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to oversee the mechanical infrastructure at their Arsenal 1 campus, managing central utility plants, HVAC systems, and industrial piping while supporting new construction projects and commissioning efforts. The role requires expertise in preventive maintenance, Building Automation Systems optimization, and compliance with mechanical safety standards to ensure operational reliability for advanced manufacturing and testing operations.
What you'll do
- Oversee operation and maintenance of central utility plants, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air handling systems, compressed air, and industrial piping networks
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using vibration analysis, fluid analysis, and water treatment protocols
- Provide engineering review and on-site support for construction projects including design reviews, submittals, and commissioning
- Lead commissioning, test and balance, and acceptance testing of mechanical equipment and Building Automation Systems
- Conduct heating/cooling load studies, airflow analysis, and utility capacity planning for manufacturing operations
- Manage external contractors, controls integrators, and consultants during maintenance and capital improvement projects
