Flight Test Engineer, Ghost

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Flight Test Engineer to support the Ghost autonomous unmanned aircraft system, conducting comprehensive testing of software and hardware capabilities for ISR missions. You'll manage test operations, planning, and execution across multiple locations while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure operational readiness and system integration.

What you'll do

• Plan, execute, and report on flight test campaigns for the Ghost sUAS platform at various test locations
• Manage test assets, configuration control, and inventory to maintain mission capability
• Generate test cards, conduct pre/post-flight briefings, and oversee test events with cross-functional teams
• Prepare test readiness reviews, safety assessments, and disseminate status reports to stakeholders
• Collaborate with hardware/software engineers to adjudicate findings and characterize technical issues
• Collect and report performance metrics demonstrating product progression and maturity
