Anduril Industries seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to support military air defense systems worldwide, combining hands-on technical troubleshooting with field training and customer support. This Costa Mesa-based role involves deploying cutting-edge defense technology, managing hardware/software/networking challenges in remote locations, and collaborating with engineering teams to drive product improvements.

What you'll do

• Deploy and support air defense systems globally, performing field maintenance and technical operations
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and networking issues in unstructured field environments
• Train users on system operation and provide ongoing customer field support
• Conduct incident response root-cause analyses and implement preventive measures
• Communicate technical status and recommendations to internal teams and customers
• Maintain system performance, availability, and support documentation

What they're looking for

• Problem-solving in unstructured hardware/software/networking environments
• Tower climbing and installation of sensors, cameras, radars, and PTUs
• Mechanical troubleshooting of generators, solar power, and hydraulic systems
• Tower maintenance including guy wires, anchors, and lightning protection
• Network+ and Linux+ certification or equivalent
• Fiber and RF systems experience with antenna knowledge
• Power cable and RJ45 connector termination
• Logistics and operational planning
