About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Fuel Systems Engineer to design and develop aircraft fuel systems for advanced air vehicles and missile platforms. You'll manage the complete development lifecycle from concept through flight testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, resilient mechanical systems.
What you'll do
- Design and develop aircraft fuel systems for multiple air vehicle programs across concept, testing, and qualification phases
- Perform detailed design of fuel system components including tubing, pumps, filtration, gauging, venting, and refueling/defueling systems
- Partner with software, systems, testing, manufacturing, and supplier teams to integrate fuel system hardware
- Support component selection, prototype builds, qualification testing, and system integration throughout development
- Collaborate with senior engineers and fuel systems architects while progressively owning more complex designs
- Work on Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms requiring high-performance and resilient systems
