Integration & Test Engineer, Omen

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Integration & Test Engineer to lead surrogate platform testing for Omen, an autonomous tail-sitter aircraft. You'll oversee flight test activities using crewed test-beds, mock-ups, and powertrain rigs to validate subsystem performance before full aircraft integration in a fast-paced defense technology environment.

What you'll do

• Own surrogate platform test operations including crewed carry configurations, full-size mock-ups, and powertrain rigs
• Develop and execute test plans for surrogate flight activities, capture learnings, and provide design recommendations
• Lead integration of vehicle and mission system components onto surrogate platforms across representative flight envelopes
• Coordinate crewed surrogate operations including pod integration, instrumentation, and mission planning
• Manage flight test instrumentation integration and real-time telemetry systems
• Ensure safety through hazard identification, risk management, and coordinate airspace/spectrum approvals
