Manufacturing Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support composite and metallic aerostructure production at their North Carolina facility. You'll manage the full manufacturing value chain—from design for manufacturability through assembly—while collaborating across engineering, quality, and operations to deliver cutting-edge defense systems on schedule.

What you'll do

• Develop manufacturing documentation including work instructions, MBOMs, quality plans, and inspection requirements
• Partner with technicians and design engineers to build composite parts, tooling, and assemblies according to specifications
• Optimize work cell design and processes to meet quality and efficiency targets
• Lead root cause corrective actions with the quality team to eliminate production issues
• Communicate critical manufacturing insights to Program Managers to ensure on-time delivery
• Solve manufacturing challenges in fast-paced, specification-driven environments

• Engineering drawing interpretation and GD&T
• CAD/CAM software (NX preferred)
• TeamCenter for digital manufacturing processes
• CNC machining operations knowledge
