Manufacturing Engineer, Drones

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the production scaling of advanced drone systems from design through high-volume manufacturing. You'll bridge engineering and production, ensuring quality and efficiency while supporting multiple UAS platforms in a fast-paced defense technology environment.

What you'll do

• Guide product transition from concept through prototype and full-scale production
• Provide daily manufacturing support and solve mechanical, electrical, and software production issues
• Collaborate with design teams to implement design-for-manufacturing principles
• Create manufacturing documentation including BOMs, work instructions, process flows, and capacity analyses
• Travel to suppliers and partner sites for sourcing and process implementation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and quality
