About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer with MRO expertise to design and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced defense hardware systems. You'll own the complete manufacturing value chain—from design for manufacturability through production scale-up—while managing vendor relationships and ensuring product reliability in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement manufacturing processes for high-complexity electromechanical products, owning portions of the complete value chain
- Develop process flows, work instructions, quality plans, and inspection documentation for hardware production at scale
- Lead projects to install new manufacturing systems and communicate progress updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers across PCBA, metallic, and assembly disciplines to develop repeatable production processes
- Travel to suppliers for sourcing, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing quality procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Design Engineering, and Program Management on design optimization and inspection standards
