Manufacturing Engineer, Production, Sentry

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production of Sentry Tower Systems, a defense technology product. The role involves design-for-manufacturability work, process optimization, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with internal teams and contract manufacturers to scale electromechanical hardware from development to volume production.

What you'll do

• Support new product transitions from prototype to production using DFM/DFA methodologies
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and SOPs for consistent quality
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions to increase efficiency
• Manage supplier relationships and travel to contract manufacturers for audits and issue resolution
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues and support quality planning efforts
• Maintain PLM data including BOMs, configuration control, and change management
