Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to optimize production systems and drive operational efficiency for defense technology manufacturing. The role involves enhancing automation, robotics, and control systems while leading continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment, with relocation to Asheville, OH after initial training in Santa Ana, CA.

What you'll do

• Analyze and optimize production equipment to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Lead continuous improvement projects targeting yield, cycle time, and equipment availability with metrics reporting to management
• Collaborate with process engineering and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and enhance reliability
• Support rapid production ramp-up for newly launched products at full scale
• Develop SCADA systems to monitor and process real-time production data
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective/preventive actions
