About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Maritime Technical Operations Engineer to support global deployment and field operations of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer-facing support, troubleshooting, training, and feedback integration across subsea robotics platforms in dynamic, often austere environments.
What you'll do
- Deploy globally to support customer-fielded AUV operations and ensure successful product employment
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and operation of AUVs in the field
- Lead mission planning and data collection while serving as a product expert for customers
- Liaise between customers, engineering, and operations teams to resolve technical issues
- Develop and deliver training materials and specialized instruction for customer teams
- Gather customer feedback and integrate insights into documentation and product improvements

- 3+ years operating at-sea robotic systems or AUVs
- AUV maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair expertise
- Linux and command-line interface proficiency
- Problem-solving in hardware, software, and networking environments
- Technical documentation and customer communication

- Electronics troubleshooting and test equipment use
- Subsea sensor integration and acoustic systems knowledge
