About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and analyze solid rocket motor components including cases, nozzles, and igniters. You'll leverage CAD and FEA tools to develop critical subsystems from concept through testing, with 3+ years of mechanical design experience required.
What you'll do
- Perform CAD design of rocket motor mechanical components
- Conduct finite element analysis on structural and thermal systems
- Generate and release engineering drawings and product definitions
- Create technical reports and present findings in design reviews
- Support prototyping, manufacturing, and testing at facilities and supplier sites
- Own full lifecycle development of critical subsystems
