About this role

What you'll do
- Design and develop launch, recovery, handling, and maintenance support systems for autonomous underwater vehicles
- Refine mechanical solutions for support system components including mechanisms, gear, and testing equipment
- Select, qualify, and manage vendors for commercial components and outsourced manufacturing
- Define requirements, propose solutions, and establish evaluation methodologies for support systems
- Conduct design reviews, analysis, prototype testing, and hardware validation plans
- Partner with electrical and software teams to ensure integrated, reliable, cost-effective systems
