About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an early-career Mission Engineer to conduct rigorous, model-driven analyses supporting air dominance and strike capabilities. You'll translate stakeholder questions into physics-based simulations and analytical products that demonstrate how Anduril's autonomous defense technologies deliver military advantage.

What you'll do

  • Develop model-driven analyses using the scientific method and internal modeling & simulation capabilities
  • Design and execute mission-level simulation experiments to answer business and technical questions
  • Build deep understanding of Anduril's autonomy, platform, perception, and simulation products
  • Create clear written and verbal summaries of complex analytical findings for internal teams and external customers
  • Conduct operations analysis studies from problem definition through report generation
  • Quantify mission success impact of defense technologies through demonstration support

What they're looking for

  • AFSIM scripting (1+ years hands-on experience)
  • Python or MATLAB programming
  • Modeling and simulation (M&S) expertise
  • Platform MS&A (aerodynamics, fuel, signature modeling)
  • Payload MS&A (radar, EOIR, communications, weapons)
  • RF/Electronic Warfare/EW knowledge
  • Technical writing and presentation
  • Signal processing or RF propagation modeling
