About this role
Anduril is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to develop autonomous flight systems and multi-agent robotics platforms for aerial vehicles like Fury and Barracuda. You'll work on Lattice for Mission Autonomy, building critical software for computer vision, motion planning, controls, and secure communications in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Develop autonomy software stack including computer vision, motion planning, SLAM, and controls
- Build and test multi-agent autonomous systems for real-world deployment
- Collaborate with Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering teams
- Design and implement secure communication protocols for robotic systems
- Contribute to modeling and simulation frameworks for physical systems
- Navigate and enhance complex codebases in established systems
