About this role
Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to develop core Command and Control software for its Lattice platform, enhancing military autonomy and AI-driven systems. This role focuses on software development that connects hardware with human operators and involves significant real-time data processing.
What you'll do
- Design and implement consensus protocols for autonomous vehicles
- Build distributed teaming state for replicated mission data and conflict resolution
- Support strong consensus and eventual consistency in diverse environments
- Manage failure semantics for partitioned vehicles
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to tackle complex challenges
- Travel up to 30% for real-world capability deployment
What they're looking for
- 3+ years C++ and/or Rust experience
- Experience with data processing and analysis
- Ability to navigate complex systems
- Understanding of military systems and tactics
- Knowledge of motion planning and simulation
- Experience with multi-agent systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Willingness to obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
