About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to design mission solutions for space domain awareness and control systems. You will develop trajectory models, build physics-based simulations, and create analytical products that demonstrate the value of AI-powered distributed spacecraft systems to military stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Develop model-driven analyses and create physics-level simulations for space missions
- Design mission trajectories, constellation architectures, and spacecraft trade-space analyses
- Collaborate with systems engineering, GNC, propulsion, and flight software teams
- Build rigorous mathematical and physics models for spacecraft and payload performance
- Create analytical products to guide hardware engineering and demonstrate competitive advantages
- Translate complex simulation data into compelling visual presentations for stakeholders
