Product Data Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Product Data Engineer to manage product configuration data and baselines across design, engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment. You'll partner with program teams to handle change management, conduct configuration audits, and modernize digital engineering processes using tools like Teamcenter.

What you'll do

• Generate and manage configuration item change requests with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
• Perform critical analyses including dependency mapping, test analysis, and inventory disposition to support changes while maintaining traceability
• Support configuration management forums such as Change Control Board and Test Review Board with business cases and technical documentation
• Conduct product configuration audits, reconcile bills of materials against baselines, and resolve non-conformances
• Serve as Teamcenter expert, managing engineering changes and training users on PLM workflows
• Identify and pilot improvements to digital engineering processes, including AI-driven automation opportunities

• Configuration management (EIA649/C, MIL-HDBK-61B standards)
• Teamcenter or similar PLM software expertise
• Bill of Materials (EBOM, MBOM, SBOM) management
• Change control and engineering release processes
• Data analysis and traceability documentation
• Cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
• Configuration audits and compliance (FCA/PCA)
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis
