About this role
Anduril seeks a Product Quality Engineer to lead quality processes for advanced missile programs in Costa Mesa, California. You'll collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to establish quality requirements, drive continuous improvement, and ensure product reliability throughout the development and production lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Lead quality planning, inspection, and acceptance testing for missile development and production programs
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Material Review Board activities to eliminate product risk
- Develop comprehensive quality plans (APQP-style) and establish metrics for measuring quality performance
- Manage transitions from new product introduction to high-rate sustainable manufacturing processes
- Lead supplier quality engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams including reliability, manufacturing, and customer stakeholders
- Conduct product health data analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle

- FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and GD&T methodologies
- Design review and quality management of complex systems (avionics, propulsion, composites, integration)
- Data analysis and metrics development for quality prediction

- Cross-functional collaboration and leadership
- Product development and lifecycle management
- Metrology and inspection process optimization
