Product Quality Engineer
About this role
Anduril is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to lead quality processes and drive product excellence across missile programs in Costa Mesa. You'll collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to establish quality requirements, manage product health metrics, and champion continuous improvement throughout the development and production lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Drive quality planning, inspection, and acceptance testing for missile programs from development through production
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective action, and material review board activities to eliminate product risks
- Develop comprehensive quality plans (APQP-style) and manage supplier quality for missile projects
- Establish product health metrics and conduct data analysis to predict and improve quality performance
- Champion new product introduction transitions to sustainable, high-rate manufacturing processes
- Define and execute product/process requirements aligned with customer expectations and industry standards

- FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and GD&T methodologies
