Product Sourcing Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Product Sourcing Engineer to manage strategic supply chain development and cost optimization for rocket motor systems and defense hardware. You'll collaborate across engineering, quality, and manufacturing to accelerate product development, manage supplier relationships, and drive lifecycle cost reduction.

What you'll do

• Conduct supplier selection and partner with strategic suppliers on design development, cost modeling, and joint engineering activities
• Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs while managing production ramp with quality and manufacturing teams
• Perform value-stream mapping and BOM risk assessments to optimize lead times, flexibility, and component sourcing
• Manage CAPEX throughout new product introduction and ensure component qualifications before production
• Lead cost engineering activities to align bottoms-up costs with product targets and maximize total cost of ownership
• Drive component and supplier rationalization to reduce complexity and manage ad-hoc cost issues
