About this role
Anduril's Maritime Division seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to develop perception and planning systems for autonomous underwater vessels. You'll own end-to-end technical delivery of navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness capabilities while collaborating across teams to integrate next-generation maritime platforms.
What you'll do
- Design and implement safe navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness systems for autonomous vehicles
- Develop scalable subsystems including sensor processing, perception, tracking, motion planning, and health management
- Apply computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning techniques to enhance vehicle capabilities
- Conduct testing and validation of algorithms through simulation and real-world data analysis
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and systems engineers on system integration and testing
- Act as technical owner for assigned systems, managing requirements, roadmaps, and team coordination
