About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Controls System Engineer to maintain and operate mission-critical factory infrastructure, including SCADA systems, OT networks, and PLC platforms. This role involves managing on-premise control systems, developing Ignition applications, and ensuring manufacturing uptime in a fast-paced defense manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

  • Operate and maintain on-premise factory infrastructure and control systems supporting production
  • Develop and manage Ignition Perspective SCADA applications including views, tags, alarms, and gateway topology
  • Maintain OT server infrastructure (Ignition gateways, historians, MQTT brokers) with backup and change-control procedures
  • Operate OT networking stack (MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP) and diagnose protocol and network issues using packet analysis
  • Troubleshoot and debug PLC code on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms for high-volume manufacturing
  • Serve as escalation point for resolving complex infrastructure issues and maintaining factory uptime
