Software Engineer, Generalist

Anduril Industries seeks a generalist backend software engineer to design and maintain scalable, mission-critical systems for defense technology applications. You'll work across distributed systems, data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions powered by AI and advanced technology.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable, reliable backend services for mission-critical applications
• Architect data models, databases, and processing pipelines for extensive data requirements
• Collaborate with frontend, robotics, and other engineers to define service requirements and ensure seamless integration
• Optimize system performance and identify bottlenecks in distributed systems
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from design through maintenance
