About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to develop autonomous drone systems and core robotics libraries for the Ghost platform and other aerial vehicles. You'll design flight control software, optimize performance, build simulators, and collaborate with hardware teams to deliver mission-critical defense technology from concept to deployment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain core robotics libraries including frame transformations, targeting, and guidance systems
- Design and build Software-in-the-Loop simulators for advanced autonomous systems
- Optimize product performance including battery consumption and route planning for Ghost helicopter
- Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in deployed systems to ensure field reliability
- Contribute to multi-agent UAV coordination system design and implementation
