Software Engineer, Intelligence Systems

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer to develop full-stack solutions for intelligence community customers in Reston, Virginia. You'll design and maintain mission-critical software systems spanning front-end interfaces to back-end services while working in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy full-stack software solutions across front-end and back-end systems
• Maintain and refactor mission-critical software to ensure performance and longevity
• Conduct code reviews, maintain version control, and ensure adherence to best practices
• Perform rapid issue triage and root cause analysis for production system failures
• Contribute to software development under tight timelines to meet project deadlines
• Optimize database interactions and implement performance improvements

What they're looking for

• Full-stack software development (1-3 years experience)
• Front-end frameworks (React or Angular)
• Back-end development (C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java preferred)
• SQL Server and database management
• Code refactoring and performance optimization
• DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization)
• AI/ML integration experience
• Complex codebase comprehension
