Software Engineer, Maritime

About this role

Anduril's Maritime Division seeks a Software Engineer to develop autonomous maritime systems and software solutions supporting next-generation underwater vessels and defense platforms. You'll own end-to-end software delivery across autonomy, simulation, command and control, and payload integration while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

What you'll do

• Design and implement software for autonomous maritime platforms, including onboard and command-and-control systems
• Own deployed software solutions while balancing user needs with technical and regulatory constraints
• Develop and enhance vehicle mission software with full lifecycle testing, monitoring, and operational support
• Create test fixtures and simulation environments for hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop validation
• Contribute reusable software components across multiple Anduril product lines
• Support vehicle manufacturing, deployment, and field operations with up to 20% travel

• Systems and application programming (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, testing)
• C++, Rust, or Go backend and embedded software development
• Typescript and React frontend development
• Remote software system troubleshooting and analysis
• Full-stack software lifecycle management (design through sustainment)

• Robotics and embedded systems experience
