About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms and real-time systems for air and missile defense radar. You'll develop multi-target tracking solutions, optimize performance-critical software, and collaborate with radar engineers to deploy production systems protecting military operations.
What you'll do
- Design and implement multi-target tracking and track fusion algorithms for airborne threats
- Develop high-performance, real-time software to process radar data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets
- Build modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements
- Optimize tracking software for millisecond-critical performance environments
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate solutions into end-to-end defense systems
- Communicate technical concepts to cross-functional teams and customers; support field tests and demonstrations
