Supplier Quality Engineer
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee quality and reliability of sub-sea components (connectors, cables, batteries, mechanical parts) for autonomous underwater vehicles. You'll collaborate with design teams and suppliers to establish manufacturing processes, conduct supplier assessments, and ensure first-time quality across the supply chain.
What you'll do
- Support design teams with expertise in materials, DFM, and inspection techniques while managing technical risks from prototyping through production scaling
- Drive supplier quality development through design reviews, process development, testing, and qualification of sub-sea components and sub-assemblies
- Conduct supplier audits, readiness reviews, and qualification activities (PPAP, FAIR) to verify alignment with electrical and assembly requirements
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective action (RCCA/SCAR), and material review board (MRB) activities for purchased goods issues
- Partner with sourcing, engineering, and program management to ensure predictable supply and manage supplier performance for cost, quality, and delivery
- Establish and strengthen US-based supplier network while standardizing quality processes across multiple sites
