System Security Engineer, Program Protection

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Systems Security Engineer to lead program protection and cybersecurity strategy for next-generation autonomous defense systems. You'll integrate security engineering throughout the product lifecycle, from design through sustainment, ensuring resilience against advanced threats across air, land, maritime, and space platforms.

What you'll do

• Develop and champion system security architecture, requirements, and design decomposition for autonomous defense products
• Integrate holistic security processes to prevent, mitigate, and recover from cyberattacks using advanced adversary tactics
• Identify and prioritize mission-based cyber risks, translating threat landscapes into actionable engineering decisions
• Design system features with engineering teams to meet industry-standard security goals across software, RF, and electrical architectures
• Develop, execute, and document system security tests, demonstrations, evaluations, and customer-led assessments
• Support technical deliverables and major milestone reviews (SRR, SVR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR)
