About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Engineer to lead the hands-on integration and validation of complex defense systems. This role focuses on translating architectural designs into field-ready capabilities through rigorous testing, troubleshooting across hardware/software/network domains, and managing the entire right-side V-model from bench to operational deployment.
What you'll do
- Lead hands-on integration of heterogeneous hardware platforms, sensors, and software subsystems from baseline to scaled complexity
- Own verification, validation, and fielding as technical authority; translate requirements into aggressive real-world test campaigns
- Debug multi-domain anomalies across mechanical, electrical, software, and network systems during integration and field testing
- Design and execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) test rigs and lead readiness reviews and customer acceptance tests
- Partner with TPMs and engineering teams to balance technical risk and drive product improvements through data-driven feedback
- Travel to field and customer sites to oversee operational deployments and ensure smooth R&D-to-operations transitions
What they're looking for
- Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (8+ years)
- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) testing
- Network debugging (Wireshark, TCP/IP, UDP)
- Python scripting and data analysis
- Multi-domain troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, software, network)
- Formal testing milestones (FAT, SAT)
- Linux and edge-compute systems
- Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and systems requirements validation
