Systems Engineer, TRS

About this role

Anduril seeks a Systems Engineer to drive technical strategy for autonomous drone and rocket motor products in the Tactical Recon & Strike division. You'll lead cross-functional teams through complex system design, safety analysis, and test execution while applying defense standards to safety-critical development.

What you'll do

• Drive systems architecture and requirements for autonomous products (Altius, Anvil, Bolt, Ghost)
• Partner with product leads and functional teams to scope capabilities and deliver milestones
• Execute System Hazard Analyses (SHAs) and Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) to ensure safety and reliability
• Coordinate system integration and test events from simulation through flight testing
• Apply defense standards (STANAG, MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-464, etc.) to engineering processes
• Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and technical inefficiencies
