About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Tactical Network & Mission Systems Engineer to design and build the unified network infrastructure connecting autonomous maritime platforms across undersea, surface, aerial, and satellite domains. This hands-on role combines networking architecture, software-defined infrastructure, and real-world at-sea validation to enable coordinated autonomous fleet operations across US, UK, and Australian environments.
What you'll do
- Design and implement network infrastructure, SDN control planes, and transport solutions for maritime autonomous systems
- Build cross-domain connectivity solutions spanning acoustic modems, tactical RF, satellite backhaul, and classified networks
- Collaborate with platform teams on code integration, common interfaces, and hands-on problem-solving
- Develop networking solutions for contested/degraded environments including mesh networking and graceful degradation
- Support operational exercises and at-sea demonstrations with working network infrastructure
- Prototype solutions, run performance tests, and provide data-driven input on architecture decisions
