About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Test and Evaluation Engineer to lead testing programs for autonomous mission systems, ensuring they meet rigorous performance standards. You'll oversee developmental testing activities, design comprehensive test plans, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and government partners to validate autonomous capabilities.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end T&E test programs for mission autonomy projects from planning through execution
- Design and execute test plans using surrogate vehicles to validate autonomous system performance across simulated mission profiles
- Analyze test data to identify system performance gaps and recommend improvements
- Coordinate with software engineers, hardware teams, and product managers to define requirements and ensure alignment
- Manage communications with government partners and military leadership regarding test objectives and results
- Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track system capabilities
