Test & Evaluation Engineer, Imaging

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Test & Evaluation Engineer to lead developmental testing of advanced imaging systems for defense applications. You'll collaborate across engineering teams to design test requirements, ensure safe operations, and validate both ground and airborne systems in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Lead developmental testing of tactical imaging systems (ground and airborne) in dynamic test environments
• Define test requirements with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with system capabilities
• Coordinate with internal and external test resources to execute system validation
• Maintain safe operations in compliance with established procedures and protocols
• Develop and improve test procedures, safety protocols, and documentation standards
• Serve as technical resource and support program management on product-specific decisions

What they're looking for

• Test engineering and system test & evaluation (8+ years required)
• Hardware and software lab testing experience
• Infrared imaging systems or laser systems knowledge (preferred)
• Test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)
• Computer networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing)
• Technical writing and customer-facing documentation
• Problem-solving across multiple engineering disciplines
• Airborne systems integration experience (preferred)
