About this role
Anthropic seeks a legal counsel specializing in infrastructure security to serve as day-to-day legal partner to the Chief Security Officer. You'll own contractual and regulatory oversight of physical security, hardware supply-chain, network security, and vendor risk management for one of the tech sector's highest-value targets.
What you'll do
- Draft and negotiate security specifications in facility leases, build-to-suit agreements, and colo contracts covering physical hardening and access controls
- Manage hardware provenance, anti-tamper warranties, export controls (EAR/BIS), and NDAA/CHIPS-Act compliance in silicon and OEM agreements
- Establish security requirements for carrier, fiber, and peering agreements including encryption and route integrity
- Set personnel security standards for vendor and contractor access through background screening and badge requirements
- Support CFIUS screening, regulatory compliance (NIST/ISO/SOC 2), and security representations in customer contracts
- Build scalable security contracting function including templates, vendor questionnaires, and team training programs
