Finance Systems Engineer, Revenue

About this role

Anthropic seeks a Finance Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure powering their quote-to-cash lifecycle. You'll develop full-stack applications, configure platforms like Zuora and Stripe, and create integrations that enable the finance team to operate efficiently while maintaining SOX and ASC 606 compliance.

What you'll do

• Own architecture, development, and maintenance of internal finance applications and third-party platform administration
• Build and maintain integrations across Zuora, Stripe, Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce, Tesorio, and BigQuery
• Design auditable, observable, and recoverable system integrations meeting SOX compliance standards
• Automate manual, error-prone month-end close workflows with production-grade solutions
• Translate business requirements from Finance stakeholders into scalable technical designs and implementations
• Develop documentation, data flow diagrams, and runbooks to reduce engineering dependencies

What they're looking for

• Python and JavaScript/Node.js development
• React (strong plus)
• System integrations: REST APIs, event-driven pipelines, ETL workflows
• BigQuery, Postgres, or similar data platforms with SQL proficiency
• Workato, MuleSoft, or similar iPaaS platforms (preferred)
• Experience with Zuora, NetSuite, Workday, or Stripe
• Full-stack architecture and production deployment
• SOX compliance and financial systems knowledge
