About this role
Anthropic seeks a senior Security Engineer to design and scale corporate security controls protecting employees, devices, and company infrastructure across multiple platforms. You'll drive endpoint hardening, zero-trust access, identity governance, and security automation as the company grows, treating security as an engineering discipline with code-based, repeatable controls.
What you'll do
- Harden endpoints across macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS through MDM configuration, application allowlisting, patching, and browser policy
- Implement device-trust and zero-trust access controls ensuring company systems are accessed only from managed devices with appropriate permissions
- Build automation and integrations for identity and device lifecycle management, including joiner/mover/leaver workflows and exception handling
- Lead SaaS and identity governance including OAuth grants, delegated admin access, and software security reviews
- Conduct threat modeling to identify and prioritize security issues, then drive them to completion
- Partner across Security, IT, and Engineering teams on telemetry, detections, and standards for secure AI agent operations
