About this role
Antora Energy seeks an experienced CAM programmer for a 3–5 week contract to generate CAM programs and G-code for 38 precision parts using SolidWorks CAM, validate them on a Haas GM-1 mill, and train production technicians on the machining process.
What you'll do
- Program parts in SolidWorks CAM using existing post-processors, machine definitions, and tool libraries
- Generate machine-ready G-code files for Haas GM-1 3-axis gantry mill operations
- Create complete documentation packages including setup sheets, tool lists, and work-holding instructions
- Validate CAM programs through first-article inspection and troubleshooting on the Haas machine
- Deliver formal training to production technicians and CAM programmers on program execution and fundamentals
- Coordinate with Program Manager, Production Tech, and Manufacturing Engineer on approvals and releases
