Design Engineer I - Water Resources

What you'll do

• Prepare design plans, specifications, and bid packages from project concepts through final deliverables
• Perform engineering calculations and create drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for alignments, profiles, and cross sections
• Prepare comprehensive engineering reports on civil improvements, water systems, pipelines, streets, and sanitary infrastructure
• Assist with field activities, material testing, permit applications, and multi-disciplinary project team coordination
• Support project administration including report writing, cost tracking, and progress documentation
• Research vendor and agency information while managing tasks within budget and quality standards
