About this role

Apex Companies (CWE) seeks a Design Engineer III in Water Resources to lead the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects in Denver. What you'll do

  • Lead design development from concept through final plans, specifications, and bid packages for water resources and civil infrastructure projects
  • Manage workload and direct other engineering staff on assigned projects
  • Prepare engineering reports covering storm drainage, water/wastewater systems, pipelines, streets, and site improvements
  • Create detailed project drawings and alignments using AutoCAD Civil3D software
  • Conduct engineering calculations, solve design problems, and apply industry standards
  • Meet with clients to discuss project performance, progress, and upcoming work initiatives
