Electrical Engineer (New Grad)

About this role

Entry-level electrical engineering role supporting licensed engineers on municipal and industrial infrastructure projects in Fort Myers, FL. You'll design power distribution, control systems, and lighting while building toward PE licensure under mentorship from experienced professionals.

What you'll do

• Produce electrical design drawings, specifications, and construction documents for multi-discipline projects
• Assist with power distribution and control system design, including PLCs and industrial networks
• Perform load calculations, conductor sizing, and transformer sizing with single-line diagrams
• Develop NEC-compliant drawings for service upgrades and municipal infrastructure (lift stations, irrigation)
• Review shop drawings, respond to contractor RFIs, and support field inspections and system commissioning
• Contribute to technical reports and project documentation
