About this role
Apex Companies is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer to contribute to impactful engineering projects in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. This role involves conducting site inspections, managing remediation systems, and collaborating on project oversight to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
What you'll do
- Conduct field inspections and sample collection
- Assist in remediation system operations
- Manage subcontractors in the field
- Support project engineering design
- Draft technical reports and permitting documents
- Ensure safe work practices
What they're looking for
- BS in Environmental Engineering
- EIT certification (preferred)
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred)
- Experience with environmental remediation
- Familiarity with Petroleum Restoration Program
- 2+ years of related experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with AutoCAD (plus)
