Water Treatment Process Engineer

About this role

Apex Companies seeks a detail-oriented Water Treatment Process Engineer to design and support drinking water supply and treatment projects across the Northeast. You'll work on projects ranging from new groundwater and surface water treatment plants to facility upgrades, with involvement in all phases from conceptualization through startup and optimization.

What you'll do

• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, calculations, designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• Assist Project Managers in managing schedules, budgets, and scope on assigned projects
• Collaborate with subconsultants under senior staff direction
• Serve as Lead Designer on less complex projects or discrete tasks on larger projects
• Support water supply and treatment projects including pump/booster stations and facility upgrades
• Participate in project phases from planning through facility startups and optimization
