Water Treatment Process Engineer

About this role

Apex Companies seeks a detail-oriented Water Treatment Process Engineer to design and support drinking water supply and treatment projects across Massachusetts and Rhode Island offices. You'll work on groundwater and surface water treatment plants, pump stations, and facility upgrades from initial conceptualization through startup and optimization in a hybrid work environment.

What you'll do

• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, calculations, designs, drawings, specifications, and permit applications
• Assist project managers in maintaining schedules and budgets while identifying scope changes
• Coordinate with subconsultants under senior staff direction
• Serve as lead designer on less complex projects or specific tasks on complex projects
• Support water supply and treatment facility design across all project phases
• Contribute to project cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
