Water Treatment Process Engineer

About this role

Apex Companies seeks a detail-oriented Drinking Water Treatment Process Engineer to design and support water supply and treatment projects across the Northeast. You'll work on groundwater and surface water treatment plants, pump stations, and facility upgrades from conceptualization through startup, with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule in MA or RI.

What you'll do

• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, calculations, designs, drawings, and specifications for water treatment projects
• Develop permit applications, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs under senior staff supervision
• Monitor project schedules and budgets while identifying scope changes and additional work
• Coordinate with subconsultants under direction of senior engineers and project managers
• Lead design on less complex projects or discrete tasks on larger initiatives
• Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure coordinated, complete deliverables
